Governor Kathy Hochul announced Thursday, all new vehicles sold in New York must be zero emissions by 2035. The governor made the announcement at a press event in White Plains.
On her official Twitter account, the Governor tweeted "By revving up our clean transportation transition and making major investments to make EVs more accessible, we’re supercharging our fight against climate change." The announcement comes during National Drive Electric Week.
