On Thursday, President Biden announced $8 billion in funding for healthy eating and wellness initiatives. The announcement came at the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health. The initiatives are outlined in five pillars and will include public and private sector business relationships working to achieve their goals.
Chobani, a New York-based yogurt company, will launch a national corporate responsibility campaign while DoorDash, a food delivery service, will partner with 18 cities, including Rochester, to address barriers to accessing healthy food.
